Using critical thinking skills, develop an expository essay that explains how the readings in this course help you gain a better or a more informed understanding of issues in America that are important to you, either current, past, or both.
The theme I’d like the essay to focus on is the uniqueness of black writers and how the use of African American Vernacular enriches the culture of African American Literature.
